Set in a converted stable block located on the northern edge of the Dartmoor National Park, Themes provides a unique combination of Art, Photographic and Picture Framing workshops and services.
We offer a comprehensive facility for both professional and amature artists and photographers to come and work, teach or exhibit their work and offer both indoor and outdoor facilities including easy access to the North Moor.
With large and adaptable workshop, display and meeting spaces, a small photographic studio and a fully equipped framing workshop, Themes offers the opportunity for artwork and photography to be created, framed and displayed on-site throughout the year.
We are always available to meet with you to discuss your requirements and offer only the very best service, support and advice in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our location offers some of the very best Dartmoor scenery and the beautiful gardens surrounding the workshops provide an ideal setting for art and photography 'en plein air'. Flora and fauna abound all year round.
Access is easy with ample parking, toilets and refreshments available on site. Themes is a member of the Devon Artist Network.

We are open for our Christmas sale daily between 12.00 and 18.00 from 9th to 18th December. Why not pop in and see our great selection of art, crafts, handmade jewellery and ceramics. Lots of other items including limited edition prints, original art, mirrors and nick-nacks.
Castle Drogo
Themes Photographic Club has begun the work to capture the National Trust's Castle Drogo before, during and after the forthcoming 5 year renovation program. Having now completed five days of photography to capture the complete interior of over 20 rooms, corridors and staircases, including all their contents, we are looking forward to the arrival of contractors in the New Year to begin the renovation in ernest.

Panache Cafe - Okehampton
Exhibition and Sale of beautiful mono prints by Marielle Ebner in the Panache Cafe Okehampton throughout December and running with different artists every month throughout the year.
Devonshire Association
Themes recently framed of over 50 photographic prints of Devon insects for the Devonshire Association's 150th Anniversary exhibition. The beautiful and exotic pictures can be seen at the Sherwell Centre in Plymouth until the 28th July and then at various other venues around the county until June next year.
